Event Organisers

The East of England Osteopathic Conference is a non-profit event organised by the Norfolk Osteopathic Society and Suffolk Osteopaths. Any profit will be donated to the Osteopathic Foundation.


The conference is organised by volunteers from Norfolk Osteopathic Society and Suffolk Osteopaths. As a non-profit event, any profits will be donated to the Osteopathic Foundation (oF).


The oF is a charitable trust set up to advance osteopathic practice for the benefit of the public's health. It funds education and research projects and promotes productive relationships both within and outside of the profession. It receives no government funding and relies heavily on donations from the members of the public and the profession.

Meet our speakers

Steven Bettles, Policy Manager, General Osteopathic Council


Steven is an osteopath and is Professional Standards Policy Manager for the General Osteopathic Council. Steven supports the implementation of the new CPD scheme with a range of engagement activities and preparation of resources and support for individuals and groups.

Rose Constantine Smith, Registered AfN Nutritionist


Rose is a registered AfN nutritionist specialising in women’s health and menstrual health coaching. Helping women navigate the many changes they encounter throughout our life using menstrual cycle coaching, nutrition and lifestyle advice.

Joe Rudland, Osteopath and Mentor


Joe has worked as an osteopath in Suffolk for the last seven and a half years. He initially began his career with a keen interest in acute and chronic back pain and worked at Core Clapton as a mentor/tutor for three years . Combined with his own experience of femoral acetabular impingement, this interest has developed into a further fascination of hip pain and an enthusiasm for teaching about it.


Ali Potter, Osteopath and Positive Psychology Coach


Ali qualified in osteopathy in 2010 and gained a 1st class masters in applied psychology and coaching psychology in 2020. As a Positive Psychology Coach, she specialises in health and mindset, particularly sleep, stress, anxiety and overwhelm, as well as resilience, confidence and strengths. Ali combines psychology and osteopathy to provide a mind, body and soul approach to health.

Tim Allardyce, Osteopath and Physiotherapist


Tim is an osteopath, physio, injection therapist, health and lifestyle coach, rehab specialist, non-medical prescriber, and acupuncturist. He works in an NHS Long Covid clinic. Additionally, he has been to six Olympic Games, two Commonwealth Games, one European Games, one Islamic Games, and many World Championships.

On arrival:  tea/coffee and muffins.


Morning refreshment break: tea/coffee, biscuits and home-baked cakes.


Lunch: a hot fork buffet with choice of two dishes


Main, a choice of:

  • Beef in beer with a Gruyere croute
  • Marinated chicken with honey and ginger, served with mango and sultana salad
  • Roasted Mediterranean vegetable lasagne, served with mixed salad with sherry vinegar dressing (v)


All available with:

  • Crusty bread
  • Seasonal vegetables
  • New potatoes with olive oil and herbs


Dessert, a choice of:

  • Chocolate cheesecake with dark chocolate shards and chilled pouring cream
  • Warm pear and almond tart with clotted cream

Event Organisers

The EEOC is organised by the Norfolk Osteopathic Society (Felicity Hancock and Zoë Clark), Suffolk Osteopaths (Katy Stone) and Daniel Collis. Both regional groups are run voluntarily and are non-profit organisations aiming to deliver high-quality CPD and create a community for local osteopaths.

Booking Terms

Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. We will endeavor to cater for dietary requirements when informed less than four weeks before the event, but it is in agreement with the venue and catering team.

In the unlikely event of extreme adverse weather conditions, the event may be postponed up to three months in agreement between the East of England Osteopathic Conference and Norwich City Football Club PLC. Attendees will be informed of any such measures at the earliest possible time, via contact details provided at booking. We regret that the EEOC cannot reimburse any travel or accommodation expenses in such an event.

Masks

You are welcome to wear a mask, but it is not required for the event.

Data Protection

The information you provide the East of England Osteopathic Conference is required to confirm your place on the course and will only be used to contact you if relevant to the course. Your information will not be passed on to any third parties.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your place more than four weeks before the event, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your ticket less than four weeks before the event, we regret that no refund can be issued, however you may change the name on the ticket for no added cost when agreed with the organisers. Please contact us at admin@eeoc.org.uk for more information. In all cases, the Eventbrite fee is non-refundable.
